The HP StorageWorks DAT 40 USB Tape Drive features a native USB 2.0 interface providing plug-and-play simplicity - the hardware can be ready for backup in less than 60 seconds, straight out of the box. The DAT 40 USB drive is available to suit most environments, both as an internal and external stand-alone drive. It reads and writes DDS-4, DDS-3, and DDS-2 formats, making it compatible with many most legacyolder drives.
